Me.Myself.My Camera Phone

An introspective study on unimaginativeness as it is manifested through meaningless self-portraits, and images of blank objects close by. Even though the novelty of camera phones is fading, the lack of focus and theme, and the mind-boggling volume of nonsense are persistently with us through flickrs, moblogs and the like. This series of self-portraits poses a fundamental question:

- Should camera phones’ user interfaces be made much more difficult to operate by complicating menu structures and hiding camera features thus effectively impairing image capture and upload? Would the world then be a better place?Sami Oinonen
